Backrooms (2026)

Backrooms is a science-fiction horror film inspired by Kane Parsons' hugely popular internet series about liminal spaces. A strange doorway in the basement of a furniture showroom leads into a vast maze of impossible rooms, where ordinary reality gives way to something deeply unfamiliar.

Parsons expands his original online concept into a feature-length story centered on characters trapped in the Backrooms. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve lead the cast, while the production emphasizes unsettling architecture, practical environments, sound design, and surreal visual effects.
