Actor Matt Hagen's face is brutally disfigured by a gangster as revenge. Desperate to restore his appearance, he volunteers for experimental genetic modification by scientist Caitlin Corr. The treatment initially succeeds, but Hagen soon discovers a horrifying side effect: his body is transforming into living clay.
