The Weight

In 1933 Oregon, a man named Samuel Murphy is separated from his daughter and sent to a harsh work camp. The warden, Clancy, offers him a chance for early release if he agrees to smuggle gold through a dangerous wilderness area. As Murphy embarks on the journey, betrayal among the group forces him to question how much he is willing to sacrifice to be reunited with his child.
