Where the River Begins (2026)

In the harsh streets of Bogotá, a fierce young Embera woman named Yajaira fights to raise her daughter Maria amid violence and hardship. Her nights are haunted by visions of the jungle, pulling her heart back to the village she left behind. When tragedy shatters their fragile life, mother and daughter are forced to flee. Along their perilous path to the Andágueda River, they're joined by Jhon—a magnetic gang member whose true intentions remain cloaked in mystery. Donde Comienza el Río is a hauntingly beautiful cinematic poem, transforming a desperate flight into a voyage of restoration. As memories and dreams breathe life into the jungle once more, façades crumble and Yajaira's mystical inner realm infuses reality with wonder.
