La taquigrafista (2026)
Set against the oppressive climate of Argentina’s 1976 military dictatorship, seventeen Mercedes-Benz employees vanish into state-sponsored silence. Their legacy endures solely through scattered archival fragments: intimate workplace photographs, a brief silent motion picture, and covert surveillance reports drafted by undercover informants operating with executive consent. Buried within these records is a striking photograph of three unnamed stenographers, their identities lost to time. When employee Mari receives a mysterious correspondence, she embarks on a quest to reconstruct her personal history, navigating the hazy reality following the industrial site’s shutdown after seven decades on the Buenos Aires outskirts.
