Fuego amigo (2026)

Carrying the quiet burden of his service in the Malvinas conflict, Andrés now handles daily operations for his family’s transit business. His routine fractures when specialists from the EAAF—the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team—confirm the recovery and identification of fallen comrade Damián’s remains. The announcement reignites an old habit as he lights up a cigarette once more. While organizers assemble a traveling delegation heading to the Falklands for the memorial service, unresolved trauma surfaces. In the heat of the final assault, Andrés stood mere meters behind Damián, weapon drawn. Though logic assures him his own shots never struck his friend, the lingering dread of accidental crossfire continues to haunt him, casting a long shadow over everything he believed he knew about that day.
