Homemade Nature Reserve (2026)
What began as a dedicated effort to film footage at Berrylands Nature Reserve for my ongoing series hit a snag this Saturday when severe weather forced a postponement. Embracing the detour, I produced a dynamic multimedia alternative that reimagines the destination through a digital lens. This composite work layers intimate clips of houseplants, a curated selection of reserve imagery gathered from web sources, and an original voiceover performance. In the audio track, I recite the official header information from the Berrylands website followed by content extracted directly from its Wikipedia page, creating a unique blend of homegrown texture and encyclopedic detail that captures the essence of the location despite the stormy skies.
