Out Of Sync (2026)

As smartphones and contactless systems reshape daily routines, senior citizens frequently navigate a technological landscape never crafted for their habits or expectations. The documentary Out of Sync chronicles Maria and Grace as they carve their own paths through a rapidly digitizing society. Tasked with decoding unfamiliar software and handling cashless transactions, their pursuit of autonomy unfolds through moments of genuine friction and quiet adaptation, revealing the invisible cognitive load required just to stay current. Beyond a personal character study, this compelling film sparks a necessary cultural debate about advancement: when constant innovation dictates our tomorrow, does the modern digital ecosystem truly make space for the elders who built our past?
