19th Floor (2026)

Over three years, a filmmaker has chronicled Bogotá’s shifting mood from the windows of her 19th-floor apartment, using time-lapse imagery to move between day and night. Her lens captures intimate street moments as well as dramatic public events, including fireworks, a fire, protests and riots, while television news audio now and then frames the political backdrop. As the city unfolds outside, her own life gradually enters the frame: conversations with her partner and their exchanged messages reveal everything from casual dinner plans to strained moments in their relationship.
