Ridho is a young boy whose days revolve around helping his father sell vegetables, a routine shaped by hard work and simple survival. In the middle of that demanding life, a handmade kite becomes an unexpected source of joy and the first possession that gives him a real sense of escape. His father, however, sees manhood through usefulness: being capable, needed, and responsible. To him, kite flying is a pointless distraction from the duties that lie ahead. For Ridho, happiness and freedom feel essential. As their beliefs clash, Ridho faces a deeply personal choice: hold on to the newfound joy that makes him feel alive or follow the life his father believes is best for him.
