Saira and David are names that have almost faded from memory; to most people, they are simply my parents, Devendrakumar and Sadhnaben. Their former names surface only in fleeting fragments before slipping away again. This film traces their interfaith love story, shaped by faith, caste, and the quiet negotiations of daily life. After marrying across religious lines, they built a shared life through hard work and small acts of endurance. As my elder brother nears marriage, I return to their past and listen for what remains.
