Another Side of the Wall (2026)

Fresh out of graduation, Jiawei’s romance quickly hits a crossroads. He remains anchored in Hong Kong, while his partner departs for her hometown to dedicate herself to civil service test preparation. As months stretch into a grueling long-distance stalemate, emotional distance grows, yet both partners hold firm, refusing to bend first. That quiet tension shifts when a familiar melody filters through the narrow corridors of his housing estate: a young Hong Kong resident casually strumming chords behind a paper-thin partition. Strangely, she’s practicing the very track that holds a special place in Jiawei’s heart. As the acoustic vibrations ripple through the cramped walls and settle into his vacant apartment, an unexpected harmony begins to rewrite his solitary chapter.
