HORNBACH (2026)
Director: Jonathan Kneebone
Ten delightfully absurd physical comedy clips unfold across a verdant Dutch pasture, captured through a massive, fully operational 35mm motion picture rig assembled entirely from hardware purchased at HORNBACH. Drawing heavy inspiration from vintage silent-era humor and the legendary routines of Buster Keaton and Laurel & Hardy, the project honors imaginative design, skilled construction, and the timeless craft of cinema. Developed as the centerpiece of HORNBACH’s autumn 2026 promotional strategy, the collection made its official debut at the 46th Nederlands Film Festival in Utrecht, screening alongside a concise forty-second theater preview.
