Next Up, Lin Sun (2026)

Next Up, Lin Sun offers an intimate documentary portrait of Los Angeles stand-up comedian Lin Sun, the first Cambodian American woman to headline a comedy special on a major U.S. network. Born in a Thai refugee camp after her parents escaped the Khmer Rouge, Lin comes from a family whose once-thriving legacy in Cambodia’s film industry was almost destroyed by genocide. With bold, deeply personal humor, she honors and reclaims that history while building a comedic legacy entirely her own.
