Como amar a mixtli (2026)
Led by attorney Armando Montaño, who serves as both mentor and companion, we traversed countless Puebla municipalities across the state’s sweeping sierras and rugged slopes. Our journey uncovered a pressing environmental and social crisis: dwindling biodiversity, displaced populations, and the ripple effects on local heritage. With over twenty years of peak-bagging experience under his belt, Armando interprets the vanishing plant and animal life as a profound spiritual depletion that slowly unravels the fabric of human resilience. Along the way, we documented indigenous groups drawing strength from centuries-old pre-Hispanic traditions, viewing the soil as both sanctuary and legacy, yet powerless as repeated disasters steadily dismantle their ancestral settlements.
