Home to Many (2026)

Relocating to a bustling new metropolis unexpectedly draws filmmaker Gamander López into the daily rhythm of a nearby neighborhood green space. Initially following a curious mouse clan, he soon immerses himself in a thriving micro-ecosystem featuring red squirrels, mallards, migrating geese, regal mute swans, and vibrant rose-ringed parakeets. Ditching traditional production methods, López allows the wilderness to direct the narrative himself, making consistent seasonal visits across multiple years to document raw, unscripted wildlife behavior. This deeply patient methodology unlocks unprecedented footage of never-before-seen species interactions. Crafted to transmit the exact awe he felt on location, the film places viewers directly in the grassy vantage point alongside him. Delivered with intimate authenticity, Home to Many proves that breathtaking natural wonders thrive just beyond your window, transforming any familiar urban park into an extraordinary frontier of discovery.
