HOME IS WHERE I DIE (2026)
Director: Aswin Asha Pradeep
Cast: Anandhu Krishna
HOME IS WHERE I DIE unfolds as an experimental documentary shaped by two distinct perspectives. The first centers on a child caught directly in war, surrounded by fear, grief, and the ruins of a broken home. The second focuses on someone far removed from the fighting but psychologically flooded by images, stories, and memories of children’s suffering. As empathy deepens into empathetic distress, the emotional toll of distant violence begins to overwhelm the mind, erasing the line between witness and victim. Through black-and-white imagery, abstract visuals, and immersive soundscapes, the film examines how war persists after destruction—inside memory, imagination, and human consciousness.
