Trumpet Girls (2026)

Stepping into the spotlight as Serbia’s pioneer youth trumpet orchestra made up exclusively of young Roma women, the Trumpet Girls are rewriting the region’s musical landscape. The project originated in the historic town of Vranje, sparked by the vision of community organizer Gordana Ristić and her NGO, UG Generator, creating an unprecedented platform for Roma female talent.
