ephemeral (2026)

Haunted by an unspoken trauma tied to her mother, Ivy retreats into a mind-built simulation instead of confronting the pain. At first, the virtual world seems like her ideal sanctuary, but the escape is short-lived: her trauma runs too deep, bleeding into the simulation and distorting its perfect facade. Confronted by tangible embodiments of her own inner thoughts—people who urge her to stay—Ivy begins to sense that this so-called paradise has become more unbearable than the emotions she was desperate to outrun.
