Soft Transmission (2026)

Blending in part eco-processed 8mm celluloid with tarot, this work forms a visual connective tissue that ties a family together through a shared fibromyalgia diagnosis and the mystery of healing. Made with the filmmaker’s aunt, a practicing medium, it reveals a striking resonance between their disciplines, where intuition, ritual, and material process meet. Much like experimental filmmaking, tarot offers a language for self-reflection, deep-dive storytelling, and embodied knowledge.
