Ride of a Lifetime chronicles Þórgunnur Þórarinsdóttir, a young horsewoman from northern Iceland whose world has always centered on Icelandic horses. Shot across five years, this documentary captures her remarkable rise from an unknown fifteen-year-old rider in rural Skagafjörður to earning a place representing Iceland at the 2025 World Championships for Icelandic Horses in Switzerland alongside her cherished horse, Djarfur frá Flatatungu.
