Ship of Fools (2026)

Filmmaker Jon Beaton discovers his autism diagnosis late in life, an awakening that delivers both freedom and grief. Eager for connection, he reaches toward four historic minds who may never have heard the news at all: Charles Darwin, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Émile Reynaud, and the Buddha. Using Reynaud’s own praxinoscope, Beaton sets out to bring them back to life.
