Hip Hop Mediterraneo (2026)
Director: Alfonso De Munno Gallardo
Hip Hop Mediterraneo chronicles Social Waste, a fiercely independent music collective that has spent 25 years forging its own route beyond industry norms. With members based in different parts of Greece, they come back together to record a new album and tour once more. Intimate scenes, tensions, and archival footage expose both the resilience and challenges of working collectively. Blending hip hop with Mediterranean musical traditions and offering incisive political and social commentary, the film is a musical road movie celebrating co-existence, freedom, and the strength of togetherness.
