Inside the Mountain (2026)

In 1988, Paul Eastwood and his teammate pushed the edge of possibility as the trailblazing duo to free-climb Britain’s deepest open cave shaft. They launched upward from the country’s most expansive subterranean cavern, circling a sheer, uninterrupted cascade that rises at triple the elevation of Niagara Falls, logging three full passes along the wall. For close to forty years, that legendary path stayed untouched. Years later, Olympic champion Molly Thompson-Smith and rock climbing legend Steve McClure are returning to that unforgiving landscape. Their objective is straightforward: to reclaim the vertical line and earn a place beside the rare few who have ever mastered the route through pure free climbing.
