Esperantza (2026)

What elevates Getaria to global fame as the ultimate destination for seafood enthusiasts? Fueled by this culinary puzzle, a cultural anthropologist embarks on a journey to the historic port settlement. Each dawn, she walks the weathered docks to document the raw pulse of harbor life, willingly surrendering early mornings just to catch the tide at 3:30 AM. With a smartphone ready to capture every unscripted moment, she begins as a quiet observer chronicling the rhythms of the waterfront. But as the story unfolds, the boundary between filmmaker and subject dissolves, pulling her into the intimate, resilient heartbeat of this extraordinary coastal community.
