Some feelings resist language. I don't have the words—and I won't make up new ones. The words we already have must carry both what can be spoken and what cannot. Past the edge of thought, words vanish: only the thing itself remains. My painting holds no words; it lives past thought. In that realm of pure being, I am crystalline bliss. It is itself. I am myself. You are yourself.
