A Summer of Nothing (2026)

When filmmaker Alina Manolache arrives on a Greek island with ambitious plans to make a documentary about the repatriation of the Venus de Milo, the project never comes together. Unable to accept this turn of events, Alina sets out to examine her obsession with work and achievement through an experiment in doing the exact opposite: nothing. But can nothing ever truly be nothing? After meeting Mady, a local woman with an incredibly busy family life, her study of nothingness becomes a winding and deeply personal journey.
