Swarm (2026)
Swarm (2026) marks McCall’s latest creation, making its debut in the exhibition. The piece reflects the growing role of drones as an ever-present force in everyday existence. At its core are two cone-shaped light forms, spinning in opposite directions—one clockwise, the other counterclockwise—across a fifteen-minute cycle. This hypnotic visual is paired with an immersive soundscape that builds in intensity, delivering a powerful auditory journey. The evolving, dramatic score extends the ongoing creative partnership between McCall and Grubbs.
