The Time of Cats (2026)

Valentina understands the weight of caring for those who depend on us. Between her legal career and raising two kids, she somehow keeps Time of Cats running. What started as a cozy cat café downtown turned into a lifeline for 250 felines who found forever homes within just five years. When friction with the landlord forced a move, the café transformed into a shelter on the city's edge—less accessible, but still standing. These days, over 90 cats call Time of Cats home, and while volunteers lend a hand, the bulk of the burden falls squarely on Valentina's shoulders. Scrounging up funds and managing the endless daily demands of so many cats consumes most of her waking hours. And now, a fresh crisis looms: the building's owner wants to sell. For yet another time, the shelter is left scrambling for a place to call home.
