Rooted in the Sicilian word for “memory,” *Ricordu* is an intimate cinematic tribute to my grandfather, the island he called home, and the inheritance it planted in our family tree. What started as a casual effort to document vacations alongside my brother quietly evolved into a meditation on Sicily, the nature of remembrance, and the invisible threads that tether us to one another. By weaving together pieces of his life, I set out to preserve the meaning this land holds for him—and to uncover what still echoes within us today.
