jasmin and rose (2026)

Four decades after the island was torn apart, Zehra, a Turkish Cypriot, crosses the divide to the south to reunite with Maroula, the Greek Cypriot neighbor she once held dear. Her mission is twofold: to express gratitude to Maroula’s son for saving her family during the turmoil of 1974, and to uncover the final resting place of her own child. While the answers she seeks remain elusive, the raw, unspoken truths of their mutual grief surface, forging a bond between the two women that transcends the bitter history that separated them.
