Cancelled (2026)

Danny Ben-Moshe, the celebrated filmmaker, shifts focus to Australia’s cultural landscape in Cancelled, a powerful documentary exploring the lives of Jewish artists in the aftermath of October 7. Blending urgency with empathy, the film spotlights musician Deborah Conway, visual artist Nina Sanadze, writer Joshua Dabelstein, and circus performer Talia Sofizade as they confront a transforming world, leading up to the Bondi terror attack. Capturing their creative journeys and resilience as they unfold, Cancelled paints an intimate group portrait while offering a broader meditation on the surge of antisemitism within the arts—revealing its deep impact on cultural expression, free speech, and the bonds that hold society together.
