On the Road with Abbas Kiarostami (2026)

For a quarter-century, Samadian accompanied Kiarostami and captured their shared travels on film. Now he transforms that footage into a cinematic work shaped by the spirit of Kiarostami’s own films, weaving in the hidden keys to the beauty and mystery that define them. Across ten stories and ten journeys, the car and the road serve as recurring motifs. What does it truly mean to travel alongside Kiarostami?
