Theresia keeps vigil beside the dying, praying for them and helping them leave this world in peace. At the bedside of wealthy farmer Varkichan, she urges him to repent and forgive, but the stubborn old man refuses to die that way—and he will not show weakness to his son George and George’s wife, who have returned after ten years and are now waiting for him to pass. Can the long-held suffering and inherited anger that have tormented the entire family finally come to an end?
