Loinnir (2026)

Shot on 16mm during a sun-soaked escape with close friends along Ireland’s rugged coast—near Magheraroarty and the windswept isle of Tory—this piece is a shimmering fragment from the larger memoir-in-progress, *Self Portrait at 34*. Crafted entirely in-camera across two rolls of 50D and Ektachrome, every frame pulses with analog immediacy. The title, *Loinnir*, is a Gaelic gem meaning a faint, veiled, tremulous glimmer—capturing both the dance of light on restless waves and that quiet, radiant warmth that only true friendship ignites. As fate would have it, the camera’s own shutter joined the chorus, adding an unscripted heartbeat to the reel. Sláinte to the sparkle, the sea, and the bond that holds it all together. Erin go bragh!
