On the fringes of Lüdenscheid, Germany, Sandra keeps her deceased father’s auto salvage yard alive. More than a graveyard for old vehicles, it’s a hub where abandoned engines and scrap metal get a second shot at life—and where a band of misfits discovers purpose, routine, and a rare sense of community. Alongside her crew—Holger, Markus, and Kevin, each of whom would likely be cast aside by the conventional job market—Sandra has built a delicate haven from rust and resilience.
