Brothers in Blood: Black in Vietnam (2026)
During the 1960s and early 1970s, Black Americans were fighting two wars at once—one in Vietnam and one for civil rights at home. As Black men were drafted and sent to the front lines in disproportionate numbers, the racism they faced in the United States followed them overseas. Brothers in Blood: Black in Vietnam uses firsthand testimony to expose discrimination within the military and the lasting physical, emotional, and social toll veterans endured after returning home.
