Rambut Sewu: Satu Langkah Getih (2026)

Seeking a quiet escape, Wulan and her mother Ratih relocate to a secluded rural town. After securing employment at a nearby plantation processing mill, the pair is assigned a weathered, company-managed estate. Almost immediately, Wulan falls prey to vivid nightmares and unexplained phenomena that steadily fracture her grip on reality. Residents trace the unsettling activity to Marni, a former occupant whose tragic history vanished into local legend years ago. As footage documenting Wulan’s unraveling circulates online, hometown journalist Damar returns to his roots to uncover the truth. Teaming up with Suradi, a knowledge keeper steeped in regional folklore, the trio mounts a desperate campaign to sever the spectral tether binding Wulan to Marni and to neutralize the ancient resonance of Dhandhang Gendhing before it claims her completely.
