WAVES (2026)

WAVES, a 15-minute dance film from LSDC (2026), transports us to the Ancestral Realm, where the figure Ancestor dispatches the ethereal Waves into the human plane—the Realm of the Living—on a sacred quest to reawaken humanity’s dormant spiritual fire. Drawing on poetic passages from the Bahá’í scriptures, the ancestral wisdom of Ghanaian cosmology, and the pulsating, original dance rhythms of Guinea, this short film plunges viewers into a mystical dimension, a haunting echo of the invisible world we’ve all but forgotten, yet one that binds us all.
