Dragoons (2026)

This documentary traces how Jair Bolsonaro’s political myth was built through images, from his earliest YouTube clips to the close of his presidency. Across a string of sleepless nights, a narrator moves through Bolsonaro’s livestreams, selfies, and speeches, seeking the underlying logic of a power shaped by and through visuals. Set against Brazil’s official iconography, the film asks how images make power legible, repeatable, and forceful in an era when politics plays out increasingly on screens.
