Try Hard (2026)

At 24, university student Mira is caught in a tug-of-war between two impossible worlds: classmates who cut her down through Tall Poppy Syndrome (TPS)—punishing her success—and immigrant parents whose sky-high expectations demand even more. The more she tries to please both sides, the deeper she buries the battle inside herself, until the pressure becomes unbearable. But when her closest ally, Jess, steps in with unwavering support, Mira finally finds her voice, breaks the silence, and reclaims the reins of her own life.
