Between Us is a short documentary centered on six deeply personal exchanges between Quebecers and an artificial intelligence. The device becomes both playful and unsettling—a space where participants seek someone to listen, offer guidance, and provide comfort. Through these encounters, the film paints a tender portrait of a society hungry for connection while revealing the machine’s limits in truly meeting our human needs.
