Director: Aline Juárez

Cast: Bojana Novaković

For half a decade, filmmakers Juárez and Donoso shadowed the key figures on the front lines of a modern-day resource war. Their lens captures the Chilean activist-journalist Leyla Noriega, the Atacama-based photographer and researcher Ramón Balcázar who quantifies the ecological cost of lithium extraction, Serbian actress Bojana Novaković, and Vladan Jakovljević, a beekeeper tending his hives in the Jadar Valley. As their individual narratives converge, a sweeping portrait emerges of a global paradox: the rush for green energy and economic growth collides head-on with the safeguarding of local rights. Yet, these protagonists refuse the role of victims. Instead, they fight back with grassroots campaigns, alternative media narratives, cross-border solidarity networks, and creative expression, proving that communities on the periphery are the true architects of their own resistance.

More About This Film

All We Have Is Us is a 2026 documentary connecting communities in Chile and Serbia that are confronting the same mining company and the wider global race for critical minerals. • The documentary runs approximately 78 minutes.
  • It premiered at the 2026 Sarajevo Film Festival.
