Doban (2026)

Dedicated potter Kim Young-gil immerses himself in age-old ceramic practices, pouring his entire spirit into a physically demanding craft where every firing requires manually collected clay and wood fed directly into the furnace. Guiding his legacy is trainee Park Seong-jun, who clocks overnight hours stocking a local convenience store before returning at first light to absorb the master’s hard-earned techniques. Together, they resume their shared climb along the forested ridge, stepping further into a deeply moving tale where heritage, perseverance, and quiet companionship mold both clay and character.
