In the scorching expanse of northwest China’s Gobi Desert, 2004 becomes the backdrop for a brutal heist when the ruthless Xu Sihai and his gang ambush a mining convoy. Leaving a trail of carnage, the outlaws scatter into the wilderness, only to have greed fracture their ranks as they turn on each other over the spoils. Hot on their trail, veteran detective Yang Zhigang braves the unforgiving dunes, piecing together faint leads that ignite a relentless pursuit. What follows is a visceral storm of adrenaline—blazing shootouts and tire-screeching chases—where the line between justice and vengeance blurs, forcing every player to confront the shadows within their own moral code.
