Ekeko: El Muñeco de la Suerte (2026)

Gabriela, a young woman haunted by a painful past, turns to an ancient Ekeko doll in a last-ditch effort to mend her life and rewrite her fate. At first, the charm appears to deliver the fortune she longs for—but her luck quickly curdles into a living nightmare. As her hunger for prosperity grows, it twists the amulet's true purpose, especially once it clashes with Taitaorco, a mighty mountain spirit. Bound by the brutal warnings that greed is a deadly sin and every blessing carries a hidden cost, an eerie ancestral law emerges: should the cigarette left for the statue burn out before it finishes, the gates of Uku Pacha—the underworld—swing open, unleashing vengeful forces that come to violently claim what was borrowed against her soul.
