Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look (2026)

Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look is a promotional documentary-style special built from in-game footage to showcase the scale, world, characters, and atmosphere of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. Rather than functioning as a conventional narrative film, it gives audiences a longer look at the game and the evolution of Rockstar Games' open-world formula.

The presentation focuses on the fictional state of Leonida and the criminal world surrounding protagonists Jason and Lucia, while emphasizing the technical and cinematic ambitions of the new game. It is designed for both longtime fans and newcomers who want a closer look at one of the most anticipated releases in gaming.

• The extended look premiered on August 27, 2026.
• It was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5.
• Rockstar Games partnered with Netflix for the premiere.
• Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
