Cold (2026)
Холодно
Director: Stepan Tikhonov
Winter 2025. Anapa has become the epicenter of an ecological nightmare. What was once a thriving seaside getaway now looks like a scene from a post-apocalyptic film—its famous beaches buried under thick layers of fuel oil. From all corners of Russia, volunteers have descended upon the blackened coastline, scraping away the sludge and nursing oil-soaked birds back to life. Meanwhile, migrant workers from neighboring countries are scrambling to rebuild hotels and patch up roads, racing against time before the summer crowds return. In the middle of this chaos moves Dasha, a local woman battling her own inner storms. She couldn’t care less about saving the environment—her mission is far more personal. With a sharp eye and a hopeful heart, she’s hunting for a husband among the flood of newcomers, determined to turn catastrophe into her own chance at love.
