My Sad Dead (2026)

Adapted from Mariana Enriquez’s work and directed by Pablo Larraín, My Sad Dead centers on Ema, a woman who can see and hear the departed. After her mother dies, Ema gets an unexpected visit from her niece Julie, who shares the same eerie ability. Julie’s return brings buried family secrets and old wounds back to the surface, along with a bizarre phenomenon that leaves no one unchanged. Soon the entire neighborhood feels unseen presences and hears the unmistakable sounds of their own dead.
