So when she invites actors to don women's clothing for her newest project, they say yes—chasing dreams of international stardom or maybe even a passport out of Iran. Yet the reality of performing in skirts and headscarves beneath the blazing sun proves far more grueling than anyone anticipated, and the blow to their dignity cuts just as deep.

More About This Film

Head to Head is an upcoming film directed by and starring William Marshall, scheduled for release in 2026. The narrative centers on the intense interpersonal dynamics between two contrasting individuals: a focused and organized man who must navigate his interactions with a narrow-minded, disruptive, and disorganized 'friend'. This character-driven plot promises to explore themes of order versus chaos within personal relationships.

Additionally, there are reports indicating that the title may also be associated with a different production involving an acclaimed female director in Iran. In this storyline, male actors are required to wear skirts and headscarves for a film project, leading to struggles with both the physical heat and social restrictions. These elements suggest a complex examination of gender roles and artistic constraints.
